Critical Election Dates

Special Election, April 1, 2025

US House District 1, US House District 6

Registration Deadlines:

  • By Mail: Monday, March 3, 2025
  • In Person: Monday, March 3, 2025
  • Online: Monday, March 3, 2025

Vote-by-Mail (absentee ballot) is available in Florida. No excuse required. 

The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot from your local Supervisor of Elections is no later than 5:00 pm, 12 days before the election. Your voted ballot must be delivered by mail or in person to your local Supervisor of Elections’ office no later than 7:00 pm on the day of the election.

Primary Election 2026

  • Deadline to send vote-by-mail ballots to overseas voters: July 4, 2026
  • Deadline to send vote-by-mail ballots to domestic voters: July 9–16, 2026
  • Deadline to register to vote or change party affiliation: July 20, 2026
  • Deadline to request that ballot be mailed: August 6, 2026
  • Early voting period (mandatory period): August 8 – 15, 2026
    (Contact Supervisor of Elections for optional days of early voting)
  • Election Day:  August 18, 2026

General Election 2026

  • Deadline to send overseas vote-by-mail ballots : Sept 19, 2026
  • Deadline to send domestic vote-by-mail ballots: Sept 24– Oct 1, 2026
  • Deadline to register to vote:  October 5, 2026
  • Deadline to request that ballot be mailed: October 22, 2026
  • Early voting period (mandatory days): October 24–31, 2026

  • Election Day:  November 3, 2026
